The builder, Christof Bauer writes, "The Standard Sailboat has an off-white colored hull and liner, fiberglass seat, sliding gunter gaff rig, aluminum spars, white dacron jib and reefing mainsail, all sheets and halyards, stainless steel standing rigging and sailing hardware, retractable polymer centerboard, polymer beaching rudder, teak and ash laminated tiller, polymer motor mount, vinyl rubrail, and oar sockets."
